Conclusion:
The market for volume pedals is not that full of choices, considering all of the other improvements we’ve seen in every other area of the guitar effects arsenal. You'd think there would be more and better pedals available. Out of all the volume pedals I’ve tried, this has done the most justice to the whole concept. Again, the problem with this and just about every other volume pedal: If you put it at the beginning of the loop, you'll get some signal loss. It's best to use this pedal at the end of the loop. Minimum volume knob is a really good feature. Leave the pedal set at about half, and bump it up at solo time. The pedal is very quiet, transparent, and built solidly. It seems to work most efficiently with clean channels! With distortion especially, you've got to make sure it's placed properly in the chain, I have had problems with it not working very well with distortion (may have been chain placement though). Not much volume difference at all. Your experience may be different. Price is $69.99 at online retailers such as www.samash.com . You can even check out audio samples at www.musiciansfriend.com.
On a scale of 1-10, I'd give it a rating of 7/10 .
